A Lovely Afternoon Walk

Joel and I took a walk Monday night, and saw this adorable little guy on our way. Fun! 

I like the little purple flowers that grow along the fence at the golf course. 

This top picture is of the river that runs alongside the golf course; the bottom picture is of the river that now runs where the road used to be!
 

Many of my students qualified to go on the all-day trip to Boomer's for their fundraising efforts, so I got to go along! We got soaked on the bumper boats, tried our hand at a few holes of mini golf, and had a blast with laser tag. Now that's a nice Tuesday! 

Happy Easter!

We had the joy of celebrating Easter with Mom and Dad Brown this year, and we had a fun day! The morning started off with Easter baskets full of Peeps and jelly beans, with special magazines chosen by the Easter bunny himself. Then, off to Grace Fallbrook for a great morning of worship and fellowship. Mom and Dad had even learned the choir music, so we had an extra-cute alto and the men's section was even more handsome than usual. :) I think that hearing mom and dad sing behind me in the choir as we worshipped God was one of the highlights of the day for me. All in all, it was a special Easter. He is Risen indeed!




 

Thanks to the recent rain, the hills behind our house are covered in green grass and wildflowers!  

 

Spring break...time for reading, painting, and playing with friends. Here is a little glimpse of a couple finished products!

Last weekend, Joel and I took a drive out to Oceanside and went for a walk on the beach. It was a perfect day, and a great start to Spring Break!
